Aralia
Aralia is a computation engine for Boolean risk assessment models (Fault Trees, Bloc Diagrams, Event Trees, ...). Based on the Binary Decision Diagrams technology, Aralia is certainly one of the most efficient tools today available to assess these models.
Aralia Features:
Aralia has been first developed by A. Rauzy (LaBRI/CNRS Bordeaux) in the 1990's as part of a partnership between the University and several companies (Cogema, Commissariat à L'Energie Atomique, Dassault-Aviation, Elf-Aquitaine, Electricité de France, Renault, Schneider Electric and Technicatome).
Aralia is developed since 2001 by arboost technologies.
Aralia is calculation engine. It is embedded in the following tools.
More than 1000 licenses of Aralia are used worldwide.
Aralia version 4 is an entirely new version written in C++ by arboost technologies. Aralia version 4 is available as a DLL to be embeded in any soft that performs assessment of Boolean models.
The development of Aralia is guided by the Aralia Users' Group. The Aralia Users' Group organizes technical meetings for Aralia users and distributors, sub-groups of interest, ... Since 1991, the "Groupe Aralia", then the Aralia Users' Group, has organized at least two meetings a year.
Articles about Aralia's mathematical and algorithmic foundations can be found on A. Rauzy webpage.
The current version of Aralia is version 4.4e. You can download it here.
Warning: versions 4.0 suffer from few bugs that have been corrected in version 4.1. They are no longer available on the site. You are strongly encouraged to move to version 4.4.
